The Golf Athlete - Level 2

The Level II program exposes the participants (PGA Professionals and Allied Health staff) to a more in depth exploration of the key measureable swing characteristics provided by the evidence from 2D video and 3D kinematics (over 50 common “faults”).  The participants then work through four small group workshops and presentations where they examine 2D video and 3D reports to provide a summary of: the key technical issues and drills for remediation, the on-range physical tests and interventions, the in-clinic/in-depth physical assessment options and the exercise implementation to affect long term physical development of the player.

Learning Outcomes or Objectives:
Level Two:

At the completion of the Seminar the Participants will have worked in small groups examining video and 3D reporting on four case study examples to:
1. Identify key technical characteristics in the golf swing and how to measure these on both 2D video and 3D kinematic assessment
2. Implement common on range and in clinic physical assessment techniques to quantify the degree of physical limitation in the golf swing & then how to implement remedial exercises to remediate these limitations
3. Assist in formulating the prescription of basic golf specific remedial strategies and longer term exercise options for all levels of golfers based upon sound, scientific principles and assessment

This course is designed for (sport)physical therapists, manual therapists, chiropractoren, athletic trainers, Golf Pro's.
